At Zoe’s Doodles, we take the time to get to know our families. The first step in adoption process is to complete our application.  By providing information on your lifestyle, personalities and expectations, it helps us match you with a puppy.  Once we receive your application you will be contacted to schedule a brief interview.  Upon approval, we require a $100 payment to reserve your spot in the line for puppy pick. When a litter is born, and it’s your turn on the wait list, we will contact you so that you may commit to this litter by providing a $500 deposit.     Learn more under our "HOW TO ADOPT" section.  

Absolutely! After you complete an application and phone interview, we can arrange for you to meet us either in person or virtually through a Zoom meeting.

We’re located  20 minutes East of downtown Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. 

They are known for being friendly, happy, and energetic. Goldendoodles are intelligent, making them easy to train. They're also very gentle and devoted to their family, including its younger members, making them the perfect family dog.   Not to mention their adorable, fluffy appearance.  

The answer to this question depends on exactly what you mean by high maintenance. Goldendoodles can mat easily which means frequent brushing and regular grooming. We typically recommend brushing or combing your doodle around two to three times a week. The curlier doodles may need to be brushed daily in their trouble spots where matting occurs most easily. Their higher-than-average intelligence and people-oriented nature means that doodles can be some of the most well-behaved and obedient dogs out there, but this does not happen overnight. An owner must be willing to put in the time and energy necessary to harness the doodle’s smarts and devotion through training!  Goldendoodles are energetic dogs and require daily exercise and mental stimulation to maintain their health and wellbeing.  They adjust well to a variety of lifestyles and living situations.  We believe the extra time spent grooming, interacting with, and exercising your doodle is totally worth it!

Zoe's Doodles breeds a variety of Goldendoodle generations and colours. We specialize in medium and small standard sized goldendoodles. 

We test genetically for disease as well as color and coat traits, temperament, conformation and movement.  Our health clearances involve checking a puppy’s parents and grandparents for evidence of inheritable disease while maintaining or improving upon heritage.  Our puppies also go for a  veterinary health examination before going home with you.  Learn all about our health guarantee under our "HOW TO ADOPT" section.  

The truth is, there are no dogs out there that genuinely never shed. The difference is just in how much or how little they shed.  Regardless of which type of coat your Goldendoodle has, it’s essential to keep in mind that Goldendoodles are not low-maintenance dogs.  They require frequent brushing to avoid matting.

While we can not guarantee our dogs to be hypoallergenic, previous doodle families with allergies have not experienced any issues with our Goldendoodles.

Yes, puppy socialization begins with us and continues with you.  During your puppy’s first three months of life, they experience a socialization period that will permanently shape their future personality and how they will react to their environment as an adult dog.  As our puppies develop, we allow them to experience safe inside and outside environments, situations, sounds, smells, car rides, crates, different people, and gentle handling.

Yes we do, using a combination of effective training programs to support our puppies. As early as their third day of life we begin our training regime and puppy socialization program proven to produce calm, confident and less anxious dogs by exposing them to a wide variety of subtle stimulation during their time with us.  Crate training and potty training also begin at Zoe's Doodles.

Yes, we take great care to follow safe breeding practices and prioritize the health and wellbeing of our Doodles above all else.  Waiting months for a puppy is actually quite common.  We assure you the the wait is worth it to find a healthy and happy pup who also happens to be your “pawfect” match.

Our puppy pick up window is from 8-9 weeks of age.  We will arrange for you to pick up your puppy on a pre-set homecoming date, which we will communicate to you once your puppy is born.
